Please be aware that you’ll need to bring the shoes you would wear with the dress to the appointment. Or something equivalent.
Payments: we will splitting the total cost into increments of $250 over three or more appointments, starting at the first fitting and ending with the remaining balance due at your final pick-up. I accept cash, card, and Venmo to keep things simple and flexible. However, I highly prefer cash and if you are paying with card there will be small processing fee to pay for transaction costs.
On average wedding gown alterations will cost around $750-$1200. For more customized work or intricate materials or lace/picot edge hem the price goes up. Likewise, if your dress doesn’t require that much work the price will be lower.
Free parking is in-between the Baxter Building (305 Commercial St) and the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.
The way I alter is non destructive—most things I do can be undone if the need arises.
All additional fittings as well as pickup appointments will be scheduled in person at your appointment. If you would like to plan ahead and schedule appointments on your own ahead of time, the timeline looks as follows: 1st fitting 3-4 months before your wedding, 2nd fitting about 1 month after 1st fitting, and final fitting is about 2 weeks before your wedding. The 3rd fitting option is only required if at the 2nd fitting we need to make more adjustments and we will schedule that in person at your 2nd fitting if necessary.
